Once Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson first met in a church in Hamburg they realized that there was no turning back. Ashley was just 17 and had never had any sort of relationship before, so she was very cautious about everything. It was love at first sight. Andrew asked on New Year's Eve right before the new year began in 2016, praying that God would give him a last blessing this year. It was also hoped that Ashley would be his bride. Ashley had always wanted a romantic, woodsy themed wedding with a folk theme that really represented her and Andrew. The couple combined their favorite items for their wedding. Ashley's family owned 40 acres within their backyard. Ashley had a good understanding of the entire area having explored it and even played in the area. Andrew and Ashley had also walked the area multiple times before they began dating. As most of the decorations were made by the bride and groom, the personal touch was crucial. Andrew and Ashley's dad created the ceremony arch as well as the seating area, while Ashley was in charge of designing and painting. Ashley claims that we might not have had the magical wedding I had imagined if the wedding hadn't been for Anna's beautiful floral designs. Simply stunning.
